When I was running the Windows 8 Release Preview Build 8400, which I loaded off a DVD by burning the ISO to disc, and did a fresh clean install, everything was working well.

I could swipe and touch and was very happy. So happy that I ordered Windows 8 OEM 32-bit from TigerDirect.ca so I could do a clean install and have the 'official' release.
That DVD arrived today so I fired things up and proceeded to do another fresh install. The touch screen actually works during the setup, but after it reboots? No touch screen. :-(
On the desktop I see 'Windows 8 Build 9200'
I did a second, fresh install with the same results.
I went to Acer.ca and installed the Touch Driver and the G-Sensor driver. It rebooted after each one. Still no touch screen.
Right now it's downloading updates, of which one is an update to the ATI video drivers.
After it reboots, I am going to re-install G-Sensor again, then install Device Control and Auto Screen Rotation Blocker.

I'd rather go back to the Release Preview with it's sloppy, unfinished apps then give up my touch screen, or even do a reload of Windows 7 but Windows 8 is by far my preference.

Why would the touch screen work in the Release Preview, and work during the installation of Windows 8, but not work once the setup has completed?
