Swap Magic Ps2 Slim
I've looked through modding services and pre-modded PS2 consoles, and to be succinct, no dice.
I am now looking forward to reading about Swap Magic. In order to weigh the options, I would like some help by garnering some opinions that explain pro and cons about the product.
Has anyone used it? How durable is it? Where can I buy them?
You see, I bought my PS2 pre-modded at a Chinatown far far away, but that was ten years ago. Now, with all the raids and closures, those folks have shied away and sell bootlegs only from their own country, no more pre-modded systems.
I know I'll probably need to buy online, which I have no objections, it's just that I would like to save some money in the process.
I appreciate any help I get in this thread. Discussions are welcome, but no trolling and flaming. Thank you.
Where to Download The PS2 Games:
To download PS2 games go to http://www.ps3iso.com/ and head over to PS2 Game Downloads.
Download the Game of your choice.
OR you can download the PS2 games
using torrents. Just download Utorrent and head over to a torrent site and download your game.
What to do after the download has finished:
If your game has multiple parts or .rar file then you need to extract these. Just right click on the first .rar file and click Extract Files. Select where you want to extract.
After extraction you will see only one file that will be the ISO file. This is the file that you want to burn.
OR Some downloads do not contain multiple .rar files, they just contain the .ISO file. Then in that case you don't need to extract!!
How To Burn The ISO Files:
To Burn the ISO files you will need a blank DVD-R (DVD+R also works). Buy a blank DVD that is of first class (made by SONY or Verbatim or Fujitsu) or if you use other local brands or third class media then they might not work (but I will post on how to make the third class media work on the PS2).
To Burn the ISO I highly recommend DVD Decrypter OR PowerISO.

Insert your blank DVD, open PowerISO or DVD Decrypter and burn the ISO File( I used PowerISO).
After Burning the DVD, insert it into your PS2 and play with any of your modding technique.
