I posted this in the Colt sub-section but thought I may get more traffic in here.
I picked this Colt 'Agent' up yesterday. It's my first revolver. I got it for the wife to try out and then CCW carry in her purse. If she doesn't like it then I'll keep it as a back up. She is Not very recoil sensitive; since she likes shooting my 1911 as it's her favorite handgun to shoot. We'll find out Tuesday at the range either way! About the Colt... The lock up is very tight and other than the holster wear; its in really great shape. The trigger is smooth and crisp in double action and almost glass like in single action. However, I cannot find anything out about when it was made from Colt's website thru the serial number look up. I'd more importantly like to know if it's safe to shoot +P self defense loads in it and the date of manufacture. The serial # range is: W450xx. Other than contacting Colt next week can anyone tell me more about this revolver?
Thanks!
